I graduate, well, tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the last day of high school.

Ever.

I have a beautiful girlfriend named Gabrielle. I love her very much, and, on the same note, I'll probably miss her very much when I leave for college.

Had the Senior Picnic today. I love my friends, and I hope to keep them forever.

My thoughts are sporadic tonight.

I'm anxious and excited about the future. I'll be 20 next year. Me. 20. I can't even begin to imagine. Wow.

I'll throw my hat into the air. And it will soar. Oh, will it soar.

I love my life. I love my friends.

I think it's a keeper. No do-overs for me.

Updating again. 'Cause I rock.

Hung out with COLEEN today. Holy shit. Been talking to that girl for months now, never met her, and I meet her for the first time today. That was pretty freaking awesome.

We did the following in the following order:
1. Met face to face while I was climbing a ladder.
2. Bought kites.
3. Went on the ferris wheel.
4. Went to the beach.
5. Ripped her shirt off.
6. Wrestled in the mud.
7. Parted.

Well, 5 and 6 may seem subliminal. Oh well. They really aren't, I'm not THAT lucky. But they did happen!

So yeah, she was really cool, and we had a great time for the short time we got to hang out with each other.

Went to work later, just got in from it, actually. 8 hours of standing around, fun fun fun. We got In The Groove 2 in, which is like Dance Dance Revolution but BETTER. It's awesome and I'm awesome at it.

So, I'm going to ask Gabrielle to be my girlfriend. She will say yes, it's granted. She told me she would. But I just need to get past this weekend and everything will be alright. Took me long enough, but I'll only have her for the summer unless she changes (blows) my mind dramatically. Oh well. It's okay. I love her and I want to be with her for a while, if only temporary.

School ends in about 20 days. Count it people. 20 days. Time to live life up, live life down, go to college, get out of college, and go through whatever life has to throw at me as per its duty.

So I've been researching some things at R.I.T., and realized that if I stay for 5 years instead of the standard 4, I can apply for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) as compared to just a Bachelors of Science in business administration (BS).

So, if I'm right, and the letter I sent out to the Director of Marketing returns fashionably, I should be staying at RIT for a little longer than just 2010.

Sounds like fun!

Also, I got a scholarship from the Chamber of Commerce for $750. Pretty nifty. That's like a whole two and a half weeks I don't have to work. =D

Back to work again, summer's coming soon and so is graduation. Only so much left to go until RIT. Am I ready? Kinda. I'm more than ready to go, but it's a matter of preparation.

So we went to Six Flags today for REBEL. It was pretty cool I guess. There was a little bit of dancing, a LOT of free food, and a total lack of school.

Noice.

We also took a lot of silly pictures while we ate. Playing with light fixtures in the background resulted in stuff like this:

Then we were given two hours to go on rides. Me, being the anti-roller coaster freak I am, decided not to go on any. Big surprise. Oh well! I had fun enough to not really complain.

Time to wear my shiny off-gold medal to school tomorrow. kpeace

Skills USA result:

BRONZE! (Otherwise known as 'off-gold')

For those unaware, Skills USA is a big deal for technical schools. It's an outlet for gifted students to show off their talents and capabilities and compare it to other students in the state.

Me and Scott (also pictured) participated in Website Design, a four hour competition that had us concept and develop a website from the specificiations provided at the site. The website building had to be done in 3 hours, and in the last hour we had to take a test. My score and Scott's scores were combined and averaged.

For those people that placed first (the truly gifted), they are given the opportunity to travel to Kansas City for the natioanl competition, in which they decide the ultimate winner in the country.

But yes! The two day event was very exciting. The food was sub-par, but that was evened out by much Dominos pizza, cinnamon buns, french toast, Fritos, Swedish fish, and hotdogs that we supplied ourselves. We stayed in the Holiday Inn, played with laptops and Gameboy DSes, and Worms World Party!

The award ceremony was even more exciting, when I was expecting a big lit room where they called out names and were very boring... it was more like a freaking RAVE PARTY. Everyone was pumped to find out their results, and when me and Scott's event came up and shouted out our names we literally SCREAMED AND PUMPED OUR FISTS HARDCORE.

We ran to the podium, recieved our medals, and held hands with the 1st and 2nd place winners on top of the winners podium while hundreds of people took pictures. I'll have those pictures eventually.

While we didn't get 1st, or get to go to Kansas City, being able to say "Hey, we're better than everyone but 2 people!" is pretty damn cool.

Yeah.

So this weekend I get to go away to North Jersey somewhere for a national competition (at state level first, though) for Web Design with my buddy Scotty.

Pictures will ensue, trust me. Pictures will ensue. We get to wear shiny red blazers!

So yeah, I haven't updated a lot. Here's hoping the LJ thing doesn't bore me too quickly (again).

108 days until RIT, ladies and gents.

OH!

And they sent me an email about Honors housing. Should I do it? I wonder.

Now,

as it nears the conclusion of my Senior year at high school, I'm wrapping up various performances such as:

AP Calculus exam
AP English Literature and Composition exam
National Honor Society induction ceremony
Skills USA
Paying traffic fines
Paying state fines
Paying telephone bill
Paying internet bill
Paying for prom expenses
Preparing for college
Handling my new college friends in an appropriate manner
Working at the same arcade I always have
Worrying about satisfying the needs of my closest friends
Worrying about satisfying my sexual desires (oh, they're there alright)
etc

Despite the straining work schedule, I persevere. Why? Well, that's easy.

Because I graduate soon, sucka's. That's why.

Needless to say. This journal will be able to chronicle the last days of my high school experience, and maybe it'll even last into college.

For now, I'm sleepy and tired, and I must complete my third and final AP exam (AP English Literature and Composition) in the morning. Should be interesting.
